The true story of two Victorian poets and lovers, who lived and wrote under the pseudonym, Michael Field and their struggle with Victorian patriarchy. This project began life as a podcast opera with live performances taking place at the Brunel Museum (14th Aug 2022), Birmingham (1st Sep) and King's College London Chapel (11th Nov).

Creative Team
Tom is a composer, conductor and music educator who works extensively in opera. His spare time is mainly spent growing vegetables.

Sophie is an actor, operatic mezzo and producer from Sydney, Australia. She also likes baking and lifting heavy things.

James is a pianist, composer and music publisher. He enjoys sourdough baking, home-brewing, pickling, and documenting his beagle's antics on social media.
